Class Portraits 2 (Final Post Ever)

Cora
I took a portrait of her in a window, because I know she had done it before. It's underexposed and dark to represent the harshness dead weak exerts on all students.

Greer
I did a profile portrait of her and put it on a black background.

Joshua
I took multiple photos of him and used Picmonkey to overlay and Warhol to recolor it.

Rosie
She did a project where she used the TV (Aperature Priority) mode and spun it around.

Rufus
His project involved taking portraits and using the warhol tool in picmonkey to change the colors.

Sam
I took a portrait of him and used a floral pattern overlay.

Class Portraits 1

For Emily's project, she used a black backdrop and took portraits of people, so I tried my best to replicate it.

For Alistair, I took this fantastic portrait of him and used the Warhol effect in picmonkey, like he told me.

This is supposed to be imitating Aussie's project. I saw how she used architecture and sharp lines, and then adapted it to make it be able to be a portrait.

Jack used somewhat unflattering macro-portraits of everyone, so I returned the favor with this photo.

Kyle turned the camera to manual focus and tried to capture an intense moment, so I did the same. I also used black and white.

Max did portraits of everyone, somewhat close up, too, so I took this one of him.

Spring Draft 4

This is my final draft for this project, as there really isn't that much variety in the immediate area surrounding Drew. I've used up all the spots I can really think of, and everywhere else if pretty much the same thing.
Overall, I had a lot of fun with this project.

Spring 3

I took these during 2 different spirit days during spirit week! The first day was pajama day, where we had a bouncy house. The next one was when we had an ice skating rink! These were very fun to film.

Spring 2

I really liked these two. The first one really stands out to me - maybe in not such a great way - about how some of the subjects stood still for a long period of time and centered the focus on themselves. Otherwise, all of it is nice.

Experimental video.

I made a short time lapse outside the school using Final Cut Pro X. I thought it was interesting because it shows the progressing traffic outside the school.

Actually the final draft now

I really enjoy taking these pictures, because I don't have to look for one thing in particular. I could be looking for rules of thirds, or leading lines, or just taking candid pictures. It gives me a lot of freedom.
