In this series, I feel like I have pretty much solidified my technique. It starts with a picture of a tree (or multiple trees) and I edit the sky in a separate layer than the trees or foreground. Sometimes I'll even take out a telephone poll or power lines.
I really like these, especially the first one is really great!! Its very dramatic and eye capturing. I think that these are all really interesting with the contrast between the leaves and the sky. good job:)
ReplyDeleteoverall, great series. The details of the trees is very beautiful and I like the variety of trees you photographed.
ReplyDeletegreat job. I really the unique look to each photo
ReplyDeleteIm really impressed i know how hard it must have been to capture an image with such a wide range of view
ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job on your fourth set trying to mimic the photography style of Ansel Adams. I love the trees and how you made them look like a silhouette in your photos. I really like your fourth photo because the sky and the branches make the photo seem dark. Great job on all of your photos!
ReplyDeleteThese are good, no joke. I looked through these and i thought they were taken in the woods. really good job editing as well. It goes to show you can make a photo look like anything through the lens of a camera.
ReplyDeleteReally impressed with your work Ian! The shadowed detail of the trees turned out so well and the sky in comparison brings out a lot in your photography! Well done!
ReplyDeleteThese photos are really powerful. They are all very unique and interesting.
